“Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:” (Matthew 13:24)  

“But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?” (Matthew 13:25-27)

“He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?” (Matthew 13:28)

“But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.” (Matthew 13:29)

“Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.” (Matthew 13:30)

When taking an overview of the different Greek words contained in Matthew 13:30, some very interesting concepts emerge.

Concerning the gathering of the “tares”, it is meant in the sense of “collecting them together” into groups, even as prisoners are “shackled” together as they’re being transported to prison. It carries the connotation of the “knitting together” of likeminded persons that are to be punished.

Concerning the gathering of the “wheat”, it is meant in the sense of an active “convening” of “an assembly” into a place of “bestowment”. It carries the connotation of actual “movement” among “companions” who are being gathered together into a specified place.

If one closely observes what has taken place in the last couple of years, it becomes obvious that the “tares” of this life are being drawn to each other in “groups”. They are likeminded in their attitudes of sexual perversion, hatred of those that are good, despisers of those that speak the truth and they are completely united in their embracing of the lies and deceit of the father of all lies, Satan.

The tares agree together in darkness and “invert” all that is “light” upon the Earth … attempting to “call darkness light and good evil”. And they are so united now as to not even try to hide their intentions, deception and wantonness of aggression upon the Earth against all that is pure and holy.

They openly transgress and express their rejection of God. And by their “likeminded” hatred of true equity and justice (whether in government or society), they are truly being “knit together” in their attempts to destroy what God has created.

But in so doing, they are unaware and woefully ignorant of the fact that it is actually an operation of God “gathering them together into bundles to be burned” … which is the first step in the “time of harvest”.

Now read Jesus’ own revealing of the parable to the disciples. It clearly outlines the operation of God leading up to the revealing of Christ and His “manifestation of the sons of God”:

“Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.” (Matthew 13:36)

“He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.” (Matthew 13:37-39)

“As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.” (Matthew 13:40)

“The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” (Matthew 13:41-42)

“Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.” (Matthew 13:43)
