Continued from “What Just Happened To Our Country?”

With the swearing in of a new administration opposed to everything “Trump”, the global political stage has now been set to fast track everything that is “antichrist”.

As mournful and unbelievable as that prospect sounds, Christians (in this author’s opinion) need to now “re-focus” their inner mindset and spiritual inclinations to everything that is “Christ”. There is no longer room for the old mega-church system of celebrity entertainment and “prophetic” game playing. Not to mention Christians being “tossed to and fro” by every “wind” of political intrigue and media-driven narratives.

As stated in a previous article, Christians must now “brace themselves” for the journey that lies before them.

America (and hence the world) has turned the last dramatic “curve” on the road to the fulfillment of human history. To ignore this fact will only serve to extend the confusion and angst of events which have unfolded in 2020 into 2021 and beyond.

Having rounded this corner, what lies before us is nothing less than a “straight and narrow” road leading directly to the imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! It may appear at first as a long, dark tunnel for a season; but, there is a wonderful and glorious light at the end of it!

Recently, a brother in the Lord (who is not known to flaunt dreams and visions) shared an interesting dream.

He dreamt that, as he was lying on his back in bed, an angel “floated” above him and spoke to him in a man’s voice. The angel said:

“Constancy is sacred!”

In his excitement in the dream over hearing this word, the brother exclaimed to the angel:

“What a great saying! I’m going to engrave that on a plaque!”

Besides the obvious imagery of having the precious and living Word of God “engraved upon our hearts”, the nuances of the angel’s words may help provide some direction in the days to come:

“Constancy” basically means to be steadfast in the midst of situations that would normally cause a person to stumble.

“Sacred” is a term used to describe an activity or object that is considered holy.

Put together, the terms describe a saint who walks on a path of “holy steadfastness” before the Lord.

That is certainly what we will be exhorted to do in order to travel through that tunnel with the hope and expectation that leads to our ultimate deliverance and victory. We will do this even as we are confronted with mandatory DNA-changing vaccines (i.e. medical tyranny), travel bans, lockdowns, sophisticated surveillance systems and an ever-increasing number of man-made laws designed to curb our ability to even buy and sell. Not to mention the promotion of global agendas and narratives by the elite that will lead subtly to the “hatred” of Christians.

It’s going to get very personal from this point on. Each individual Christian will have to make decisions based upon Godly discernment and upon the hearing of the Will of God within their own hearts. There will be no shortcuts or substitutes!

However, the Lord will be forever FAITHFUL to guide and comfort His Saints through the power of the Holy Spirit … enabling His Body to overcome the world in a mighty way … even as He also “overcame the world”!

So, take heart dear Christian! There are exciting and adventurous days that lay before us. Each of us has a part to play. Each of us has received particular gifts of the Holy Ghost to be used in the service of our Lord. Each of us will be directed and empowered to minister to those whom God places in front of us within our own sphere of influence.

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” (1 Corinthians 15:58)

“For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.” (Romans 8:19-21)
